Weight Loss Tea?
Everywhere you go online it seems that you always hear about
the ability of tea to aid in weight loss and being able to burn
more fat.
You'll see companies saying you can experience everything
from having more energy to being able to prevent cancer. No
doubt, there's a lot of buzz going on, but is it just more
hype, or is there really something to it?
According to Joy Bauer, who is a New York City nutritionist,
green tea contains catechins, which give your metabolism a big
boost and stimulates brain activity.
In a recent small experiment, 3 women were each given a
different type of weight loss tea for 30 straight days. They
each were put on the scales at the start of the 30 days and
again at the end. They also continued going what they did in
their everyday life before the experiment. They also drank just
2 cups of tea each day.
At the end of 30 days the women were weighted and asked a
few questions. No one said they felt like any kind
of disease was cured, but they had one thing in common
being reported; they all lost some weight.
The verdict to take away from this? Drinking green tea, or
weight loss tea as it is also known as, can have positive
results in the area of weight loss. It seems to be worth
trying, and it takes very little effort to see some
results.
