How To Lose Neck
Fat
You've probably read plenty of articles that tell you how to
lose the fat from your waist, your backside, your thighs, and
your arms. But have you been questioning how to lose neck fat?
Have you found many articles that will tell you how to do that?
Many people think that neck fat isn't subject to the same rules
as the fat on the rest of their body. The truth is, this type
of fat is just like waist fat, calf fat, back fat…you get the
idea.
So, how to you lose the fat around your neck? Here are some
tips to help you lose your neck fat in a safe and healthy
way:
1. Remember that the fat in your neck is just like the fat
in the rest of your body. Like waist fat or belly fat, the best
way to get rid of neck fat is to work your entire body. Do not
listen to so called "experts" who will tell you that it is
possible to spot train specific pockets of fat on your body.
Fat cells increase or decrease based on the amount of calories
you take in each day and the amount of calories you burn each
day. That old myth is just not true.
2. Your fat is stored mostly by genetics. If your parents
were prone to double chins or thick necks, you probably will be
too. You won't store more fat in your neck if you don't spend
time exercising your neck muscles (which is good since the
muscles in the neck are hard to exercise).
3. It is possible to tone the muscles of your neck, though
if you aren't exercising your entire body, you won't ever lose
your fat. In fact, by exercising only your neck muscles, you
will more than likely make your neck fat more pronounced. Some
of the exercises for your neck muscles include a side tilt and
rotation.
4. Some people, as they age, acquire neck fat even if they
exercise regularly and eat properly. Again, this has more to do
with genetics than anything else. If you have found that, even
with regular exercise and a healthy diet, you have been
acquiring neck fat; schedule an appointment with your doctor.
You could be experiencing symptoms of aging or you might have a
medical condition that needs examination.
5. Cardiovascular and strengthening exercises are the best
way to burn calories. These types of exercises burn more
calories than any other types of exercise. What's more, these
types of exercises benefit your body on the inside as well as
the outside. Keeping your cardiovascular system healthy is
important no matter what you weigh.
These are just five things to keep in mind if you are trying
to figure out how to lose neck fat. It is important to remember
that, in most cases, neck fat is no different than the fat you
would find anywhere else on your body. Sure, it is harder to
hide and for many people it is more embarrassing than belly
fat, but losing it involves the same methods that you would
employ on any other area of your body.
